If you can combine great insights with a case for change, and deeply engage people in bringing their strengths to that, shifts can be created quickly and then sustained, not by processes, but by people. What I bring to the table is a unique ability to see the interconnections and patterns of business performance, individuals and teams. The approach brings together the rigour of a strong background and track record in Strategy and Business Leadership from within my 20-year international career with Coca-Cola combined with Syntegrate and other methodologies to help businesses drive more effective and agile problem solving, without the need for cumbersome and heavy business processes.
Change comes about from developing and supporting individual and team development through coaching combined with designing and applying growth strategies, problem solving adaptability and prioritisation approaches that simplify and lighten the complexity of addressing and tackling change.
Our partnership approach to clients
My approach to Consultancy is guided by partnership. It is tailored to each client’s goals and outcomes. It involves working closely with CEO’s , GM’s and Founders plus individual leaders and leadership teams to work through and problem solve business challenges together.
A single project brief often leads to a long-term partnership that evolves and builds as we drive business and team growth together. I approach each client brief with design thinking and draw on three decades of strategy work to design a solution in collaboration with the people who are living the work. The work is quite modular, often adding a bit of Think.Plan.Live (or life design), a strategic planning framework and some coaching. It’s bespoke for each client, joining the dots and using a bank of knowledge, a number of techniques and the Syntegrate method. Some people would call it business performance, and I would say it’s a light version of that.

In the corporate world there are a lot of frameworks for strategy. At Syntegrate we understand that strategy is both an art and a science. We have added human-centred design so that we take into account our values, strengths and energy sources, and understand each person’s unique Life Fingerprint. That is aggregated in teams, where we can bring our best selves to work, using our unique gifts and operating models. That way we can build the strength of teams by deeply valuing what gives people energy and we are able to build trust, respect and understanding. Using tools like HBDI for whole brain thinking shines a light on how we think and what drives behaviour, helping leaders and teams to work out how best to solve problems that that need solving. When we surround the problem with whole brain thinking (and understand how each person thinks normally and under pressure) we can get things done and drive better problem solving. We can capitalise on the opportunities and move on, using the collective wisdom from the individuals.
The main shift has been moving from analytic thinking to asking everyone what they know. Agility increases and the problem-solving is quicker and the solutions are well thought through, using the collective wisdom of the team. Contribution and connection goes up, and people are more satisfied. Tricky problems are better solved. The investment from the whole team creates an investment in the outcome.
